When an athlete you coach has opted in to share their nutrition with you (toggle at /client/settings), their food log appears below the existing adherence dashboard on the Nutrition tab of their client workspace.

7-day timeline

Seven day cards, one per day, oldest on the left. Each card shows:
  • Date label
  • Total kcal for the day
  • P / C / F grams
  • A coloured dot showing variance vs the athlete’s plan target:
    • Green within ±10% — on track
    • Yellow ±10–20% — drifting
    • Red >±20% — significant miss
Use the chevron buttons in the top-right to step back/forward by 7 days. The forward arrow is disabled when you’re on today.

Day drilldown

Click any populated day card to open a read-only listing of every food the athlete logged that day, grouped by meal slot. Each row shows:
  • Time of log
  • Food name + brand (or athlete-typed name for free-form entries)
  • Quantity + unit
  • The athlete’s note, if any
  • Calorie + P/C/F per entry
A variance pill at the top of the modal repeats the day-total band so you can decide quickly whether to follow up.

What you can’t do (yet)

Coaches view the food log read-only. You can’t edit or delete entries on behalf of an athlete; that’s an athlete-only action. If you need to flag an entry, message the athlete with the timestamp.

Sharing toggle

If a client’s nutrition tab shows “The athlete may not have shared their nutrition with you yet”, they need to flip the Allow my coaches to see my nutrition plan toggle in their own /client/settings. This is opt-in by design (DEA-24).
